Let's Go Play Productions; A Modest Company:

In 2002 Daniel Gervais started LGP as a high school senior. At the end of one of his first short
films appeared a logo, and a child-like voice cheered the name for the first time.

Then, for a while Let's Go Play Productions was just a dream while Daniel went to school.  In 2007,
it was time to reintroduce LGP to the world, and since then, we've been making videos, shooting
photos, and helping clients have a little more fun.

We pride ourselves on our professional backgrounds and our personal histories.  We let you in on our
past so that you may better understand our motivations for the future.  We care about our clients as
people and companies owned and operated by those people.  And, we care about individual experiences
so that we may better assist the individual in making the best product for them.

That said, here are our people:
Daniel Gervais:

When I was a kid I wanted to make cartoons...or be a teacher...I'm weird.  As
time went on, making cartoons turned into making animated movies, which turned
into making movies, period.

I took Media Technology at Dale Jackson Career Center in Lewisville during my
senior year of high school, and from there I took two years at The University
of North Texas in their Radio/Television/Film department.  In 2004 I
transferred to Columbia College - Chicago where I earned my B.A. in Film &
Video in 2007.

During my last year at Columbia, and on after graduation, I have done
freelance work as a Videographer, Photographer, Grip, Boom Operator and
Production Assistant on many projects.

I have worked on commercials, TV shows, and films from Chicago, to Austin, to
Houston, and here in DFW.  For details, ask me for a copy of my resume, I'm
proud of it, so I'm happy to oblige.

Currently, our main client is a local credit union which we do seminar videos
for.  We have also done short informational videos for this client.

Because of my history as a student, and the time I spent in Denton, I have come
back to help the local community.  I have big hopes and dreams for my company and my neighbors.  I want to use
my knowledge to help the students, and I want the students to, in turn, give back to Denton and other DFW
communities.

Let's Go Play is my baby, but I want it to be Denton's golden child.

But these are just dreams for the time being.  For now, I hope to help you make your dreams come true.  Let me
know what you're thinking.  Give me a call or send me an e-mail.  Thanks for visiting.
Chad Hemmeline:

As a child, I had an intense love for music.  That love inspired me to study
music and eventually pushed me to excel at multiple instruments.  I earned
many awards, such as The John Phillip Sousa and The Louise Armstrong Awards.

After high school I attended The University of North Texas for
Radio/Television/Film.   I later transferred to The Media Tech Institute to
focus more on the art of audio engineering.

While attending MTI I discovered my love for music was actually a love for
sound, and that realization manifested itself through film.  The quality and
realism of a film, for me, is based just as much on the audio as the visual.

After graduating from MTI, I have worked on numerous musical recordings, music
videos, video press kits, and live performance videos.

With my dedication and passion for audio perfection and my partner, Daniel’s,
knowledge and love for film making, Let’s Go Play is a team that will deliver
a professional product that we, and you, can be proud of.
He's probably not wearing any pants!
You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!
